Two e-mails I am a member of a small Unitarian Universalist congregation, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Jefferson City (M0). I often search the Internet for UU sermons seeking additional perspectives that eventually find themselves being expressed (with proper credit) in conversations during Forum, or our weekly ‘After Church Lunch Bunch’ gathering. Recently, I have been searching for audio sermons so that I may listen at my leisure while driving and during the perpetually-pushed-into-the-future possibility of exercise. Last week, while making one of my searches, I found my way to the Emerald Isle, and the Dublin Unitarian Church. It was there that I found a veritable treasure-trove of audio sermons, all of which were wonderfully delivered with apt content. As I worked my way through the various phases of your site I discovered the opportunity to purchase a CD of your sermons while supporting the (continued) restoration of your church building. Our congregation has been in its new home now for just over a year, after a many-month renovation and conversion of a doctor’s office. I write with great admiration for your congregation’s efforts to restore your beautiful church home, and to grow all the while. Congratulations to the entire congregation and especially to the new members you will recognise on Sunday 28th October. (Or rather, my belated congratulations, as I suspect this will arrive well after the fact.) I thank you for making your sermons available for download. Mostly I wish to you the greatest of success with continued growth and evermore increased influence. Ours is a faith of peace and hope, and at this time in our world history I can think of no greater need. From one of your cousins across the pond, with warmest and most kind wishes for peace, love and tolerance. Wayne White Jefferson City, Missouri
