Podcast

Hello,
My name is Lynne.
I live in Texas. I am a wife, mother of three and a graphic designer and painter. I wanted to thank you for producing your wonderful podcasts. I am a subscriber and always look forward to the next sermon. This may sound strange, but I didn't know I was a Unitarian until recently. A happy accident I suppose. For so long, I half-heartedly subscribed to the "portions" of the Christian faith that rang true to my beliefs and dismissed the rest, leaving me with a feeling of being a not-so-good Christian. I was raised Catholic, and as an adult wandered through feelings like "maybe I'm really a Methodist, or Baptist or Buddhist." Trying them on for size, I eventually decided that I just didn't feel entirely right donning these religious overcoats. I didn't want to "become" a Methodist, or a Baptist, I just wanted to "be" one... And clearly, I wasn't. I came to terms with my lonely place in the world spiritually...until I stumbled on Unitarianism. I couldn't believe that I finally found a place where I didn't have to change so many of my fundamental principles about religion in order to fit in. The sermons in your podcasts helped me to find my place and always provide excellent provisions for those of us on the journey of spiritual and personal growth and contemplation. Please know that they are greatly appreciated from many miles away.
On another note, I wanted to share some info that might be of interest after hearing your podcast titled "Everything is Perfect" by Kieran Comeford. He mentioned the Intention Project. Coincidentally, along a similar line, I found information about a Japanese doctor named Masaru Emoto who has studied the formation of ice crystals in water. He has written a book called Messages in Water. His studies show that when positive thoughts are projected into water (through sound, ie voice and positive words) the water will freeze into beautiful symmetrical crystals. Conversely, when negative thoughts are conveyed, the water will freeze into irregularly shaped crystals. Could it be that positive thoughts and prayers actually have a scientific basis on their overall effect on humanity, perhaps generating a more balanced life, even at the cellular level?
We are, after all 70% water.
Hmmm... Good food (or water) for thought.
