Just some thoughts as Spring approaches.
As we drag our rather worn out spirits and bring them into a higher plane the tapestry of a different hue, quite simply the promise of fresh life once again emerging from the shroud of Winter into breath taking and welcoming grasp of Spring.
At this time, we can through our sense, our ears pick up the shrill rather flirtatious song of all our birds. Then suddenly the earth which has remained cold and remote for many months, now yield itself up to growth. Again we are reminded of those clusters of the dizzy heights of “yellow” of daffodils and those rather prim and shy primroses. The backdrop to this sparkling and breath taking yellow is the vivid purple of those, the haughty bluebells. All this is framed within the new growth of those budding and lush leaves just about to burst out. You can almost hear the clash of the symbols ringing out as this magic wing of nature takes control. A leisurely stroll along the hedgerows and through the land of the local farmer, this feel of Spring has been transferred into the lowliest of creatures, the rabbit has an extra twinkle to his snub nose, here inviting his pals to come out to play. The usually slow sheep have developed a calm and demure as their dramatic changes are about to happen as the lambs arrive in a flux of delight.
Another interesting fact, dropping your gaze to the new grasses and listening with acute attention, a world of insects are stretching and venturing forth to welcome the new spell of growth.
It is of little wonder that through the ages, poets and writers have waxed both lyrical and endless words on this single period in our calendar.
Our homes too feel the vigour’s of this season, suddenly the house is turned upside down to meet with the rules hurled up at us and our chez nous “SPRING CLEAN”. Fall into line for that inevitable “SPRING CLEAN”.

PS. I am a blind listener to your Audio Recordings, My computer wizard Paul has opened the vista of endless communication and listening particularly from the Unitarian Church Dublin. I am fascinated by the fact that WOMEN are treated as equal.
