One of the most pleasing features of the growth in our membership over the past few years has been the big increase in the number of young people attending Church on Sundays. This welcome development presents some difficulties though, as, understandably, young children are unlikely to remain quiet and attentive for the duration of the service. The managing committee understands that parents of young children want to participate fully in the Service, but equally it has to have full regard for those who have prepared sermons and readings and the members who have difficulty hearing the speakers if there is any disruptions. The Sunday Club is provided for the children and we would respectfully ask parents to take advantage of the facility. We would once again ask the parents of babies and toddlers to advise us of any equipment that is required to provide crèche facilities as we are anxious to do all we can to ensure that young and old alike can be accommodated on Sunday mornings. |
