Me Too !

Looking down at the youth
Like they’ve done something wrong
But yet seeming to forget
Your own years passed and gone.

Once upon a time
You were young too
Remember all the teenage stuff
You had to go through.

You didn’t have the wisdom
That you have today
You too were a lost teenager
Trying to find your way.

Just because you’re older
And that bit more mature
Remember the times
You didn’t feel so secure.

Remember the times when your heart was broken
You had lost what you call ‘the one’
It’s not just a silly teenage phase
It’s how your feeling of love began.

Looking down on the youth
Like they haven’t got a clue
Think to yourself
Once upon a time
That was me too.
