Bill Parfery

I met a man this week who does not believe in death for he has, he told me, experienced the ultimate joy of passing over to the other side and speaks of the happiness that the journey brought him.
Bill Parfrey is in his eighties now. He is of fresh face, sharp and friendly eyes, speaks gently and is possessed of remarkable strength that he brings to his work of healing. Bill is known world-wide as the Cork Healer and I was filming with him for RTE Nationwide. The piece will be transmitted within three weeks and I urge you to try and catch it.
Bill was himself healed. A broken leg from a road accident healed badly and in those days, medical care and science could do nothing to prevent him being a cripple for life. Bill Parfrey was destined to drag his left leg behind him throughout life, until he was brought to the healer.
I remember, Bill tells me, he put his hands on my left side and I felt a surge of electricity pass through my body and my leg shot straight. I could walk again.
Adult life brought Bill s own healing powers.
I remember, Bill tells me, the Virgin Mary appearing to me and her words have stayed with me in all the years since, trust and know and all will be well .
Throughout healing sessions Bill whispers those words as he tries to draw down the goodness of God into the broken body of the patient.
Trust and know and all will be well .
The operation on his heart required the stopping of the organ for a time to allow the surgeon to carry out his work and that was the moment that Bill went to heaven and came back again.
I remember arriving and seeing all these beautiful green lawns, all golden edged and wonderful. People were walking about laughing and talking and the sun seemed to shine all the time. The horizon was fringed by wonderful majestic mountains. The people seemed so very happy. They appeared to be dressed in light grey robes as they went about their day.
You have heard of the tunnel of light experience in these matters and that happened to me. I was pulled along the tunnel at great speed and suddenly I was there. But I wasn’t going to be there for long.
A voice said to me, why are you here? You have no business here yet. You are too soon. Go back to your family . I remember being taken back down the tunnel of light and back into my body in the operating theatre.
Bill sits by the lake side at The Lough in the heart of Cork as we film with him. He is surrounded by swans and ducks. He feeds them all, just as he had done throughout all the years of his life.
He speaks to them as well, There you are swans and ducks. I knew your fathers and mothers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers and all who went before you in the course of my long life.
And here you are so full of life. I am in the departure lounge for going off back to the place where I have been and came from.
There is no such thing as death and I think you all know that too.
